Women In Business

There's a group here known as Women In Business (WIB). You don't have to be employed to join, and I've yet to ever have to pay a membership fee. They are simply a group of women in the valley who gather every second Tuesday for lunch at various restaurants around town featuring some kind of speaker, or event, such as an auction. The proceeds go towards creating scholarships for young women seeking Business degrees at USU. Here's details on the one for this month: The August Women in Business luncheon and meeting will be held Tuesday, August 11, at 11:45 a.m., at the Copper Mill, 55 North Main, Logan. Note the new time! Please be seated by 11:55 a.m. The raffle closes at 11:55 a.m. and the luncheon begins promptly at noon. The topic this month is Grocery Guru. Make the most of your grocery budget! Grocery Guru Ken Roesbery will show you how to save money and stretch your family’s food dollars. Cost for the luncheon is $12. All Women in Business members and other interested professional women are invited. Those interested in attending should RSVP to Tammy Selley by 9 a.m. Monday, August 10, to tammy.selley@imail.org.
