Shrunken Marshmellows! :O

Every few months or so I splurge by purchasing a box of sugary cereal. I normally eat pretty healthily (some would say very healthily), but every so often I'll want something kinda fattening. So, while I was at the grocery store yesterday I went with my craving for some magically delicious Lucky Charms. This morning when it was hard for me to get out of bed, I thought of the whole grain oats and sugary marshmallows awaiting me downstairs and....up I sprat to pour me a bowl! While doing so, I unfortunately noticed something quite alarming....the marshmallows (aka the best part of Lucky Charms) are now itsy bitsy! I quickly poured in some milk hoping that would plumpen them up to their normal size, but to no avail. I then remembered how this isn't the first time I've been disappointed with General Mills, as a couple of years ago they were skimping on the number of marshmallows included in each box. That thankfully got corrected (at least in my opinion) but this new problem makes me wonder if I should take further action and write-in my dissatisfaction with their product, or if I simply got a bad box. So, if any body else has experienced shrunken marshmallows in their recent box of Lucky Charms, please let me know and I'll do what I can to get them back up to size!

  1. Ha, I am glad I am not the only one who takes my opiinios as far as I can. I have found myself on the phone with the VP of the Cheesecake Factory telling them we need one in Salt Lake (which happened), getting refunds for an unlimited coke pass from Royal Carribean and talking to U-dot about their signs saying City Center instead of Salt Lake City, which I think can be confusing to tourists. Thanks for making me feel better about my multiple phone calls to change things :-) I will let you know if I find any shrunken marshmallows in my next box of Lucky Charms.

  2. Are the marshmallows getting smaller or is your appetite getting bigger?

  3. Can you make this font bigger, too? My squinting eyes want to see my name at the size it deserves.

  4. I was thinking the same thing when I opened my latest box of Lucky Charms. The marshmallows are definitely smaller!

  5. We love Project Runway too! And lucky us, we still get Top Chef as we still have Bravo. Oh...I ate a lot of Lucky Charms growing up...please tell me it isn't so that the marshmallows are getting smaller...that's just not right! :-)
